Kolbeach stud was founded in 1998 by the Penalurick family of South Australia. A stud that prides itself on producing quality show stock here in Australia and in England, to breed successful saddle ponies based on mares with performance.

Selecting the best mares from overseas and Australia including successful saddle mares to make up a very well performed base of breeding stock, to enhance our breeding here in Australia.

At Kolbeach we have selected our stallions for their ability to pass on 'true to type' ponies and Galloways. Temperament, manners and paces which is passed on to their youngsters.
