2005 National Riding Pony Show – Judges where Mr. Jim McTiffin UK and Ms Anne Smiley of Victoria. KB Tip Toe sired by Camargue Tribute (IMP) out of Syon Sensation (IMP) was awarded the National Led 3 Year old of the Year owned by Miss Nicole Elliott. 

Sydney Royal Easter Show 2005 - 3rd in the Riding Pony Filly, 2yrs & under, n.e. 12.2hh was Kolbeach Garland owned by the stud. Kolbeach Carnival had a wonderful show, winning the Best Novice Pony and his open height saddle class as well, owned by the Metheral Family. 5th in the Open Pony, over 13-13.2 was Kolbeach Classic owned by Miss B Higgins, Kb Print owned by J Stewart placed in the ‘ridden by child’ pony class, 5th in the open pony 12.2-13, and 4th in his novice class was Kb Covers owned by Miss C J Thomson & Dr A R Hunt of SA.

Kolbeach Freedom sired by Fairley Tempest (Imp) out of Highmead Fancy Free (Imp) was 2nd in the Riding Pony Colt class, he won the Part-bred Welsh colt class, then won the Champion Colt or Stallion and went on to be the Supreme Champion Part Bred Welsh owned by D E & I Gregory.

SHCQ Country Queensland Hack Championships Runner-up Large Show Pony of the Year was Kolbeach Classic, who had won this event in 2004 ridden by   Brooke Higgins. Brooke had a wonderful show also winning the Champion Junior Rider Of The Year.

Toowoomba Royal Show Winner of the Yearling Filly Riding Pony was Kolbeach Finest exhibited by T & C. Harper Purcell who went on to be the Champion Led Youngstock Riding Pony,  2nd to Finest in the same class was Kolbeach Stillito owned by Harper-Purcell & B Barr.

Reserve Champion Pony Hack of the Darling Downs was Kolbeach Classic exhibited by a very happy Brooke Higgins, Brooke was also Junior Champion Girl Rider 7yrs & under 12 yrs.

Qld Riding Pony Feature Show Kolbeach Finest continued on in winning form, with the sash for the Champion Led Youngstock Riding Pony exhibited by the Harper-Purcell Family.

Spot light… Kolbeach Tunes purchased at our last sale by Judy Ivory, this sweet filly has had a wonderful show season. Grand Supreme Exhibit at the Stud Show Cohuna, she was also reserve champion Part Welsh at the All Welsh Show, Tunes placed at this years Royal and won her class at the Riding Pony Show and was a finalists at the Riding Pony Classic… just a few highlights of her show career. Tunes is currently getting broken in, and will be making her début this coming season under the guidance of jockey Bree Petrie.
