Kolbeach ponies held centre stage at the Royal Adelaide Show and the stud could not have been more proud than to see three “Kolbeach’s” parade before the watch full eyes of Anthony Mountany and Leanne McDowell in the Champion Novice Pony class.

Holly’s Spring a four year old mare (Camargue Tribute / Holly of Spring) shown by the stud produced the goods to win the 12.2-13 novice class. At only her 5th outing her performance was extremely pleasing. Kolbeach are excited by her wonderful way of going, extreme quality and presence combined with a beautiful attitude.

Kolbeach Be Free (Highmead Fancy Free / Fernleigh Fine Print) provided a foot perfect display in the 13.2-14 class to be declared the winner. Expertly produced and ridden by Jenny Evans, Be Free holds many of the qualities Kolbeach strives to produce; quality, correctness, movement and an amazing temperament. Out of the imported mare Highmead Fancy Free by Fernleigh Fine Print, Be Free looks to have a bright future.

The beautiful Kolbeach Promise (County Cover Girl / Fernleigh Fine Print) came to Adelaide with an impressive track record of success albeit in her short but illustrious career and she did not disappoint winning the 13-13.2 class. Immaculately produced by Linda and Daryl Hayes and owned by Graham and Sue Elliott she gave a bright and polished display to be awarded the broad sash. Her success was not to be stopped at the Novice championship, going on to win the Open 13-13.2 class followed with another faultless performance to earn her the 2008 Champion Large Pony title.

It would be a crime to neglect mentioning the many other successes Kolbeach progeny achieved for their owners during the show.

Christine Comley's lovely 'Rosedale Simone' by Kolbeach Sensational (Keston Tribune x Syon Sensation) won the Two Year Old Riding Pony Filly class and went on to be declared Supreme Champion Riding Pony. Kolbeach congratulates Christine on her successful breeding with K.Sensational purchased from the stud.

K. Review, KB Marine were place highly in novice, open, children’s and ladies galloway classes. K.Covers, K. Peter Pan, K. Swell were also highly placed in novice, open and children’s classes.

Kolbeach is extremely pleased to see the consistent performances and achievements their stock is now regularly achieving despite the youthfulness of many of the ponies and often their riders.
