show 2009 saw many Kolbeach ponies and galloways not
only compete but also achieve outstanding results.
Kolbeach Be Free, out of imported mare Highmead Fancy
Free by Fine Print was the winner of the large pony
class. At just 4yrs of age, ‘Angie’ has already proved
that she has what it takes by taking out the Large Pony
Championship against some very prominent and successful
competition. A pony possessing true pony character
Kolbeach were grateful for with the enormous amount of
positive feedback they received about this pony. It is
intended that Angie will be retained by the stud
following her saddle career.
Another great achievement for Kolbeach was seeing 5 out
of the top 8 finalists in the open 13-13.2 bred by
Kolbeach. The eventual winner was novice winner was
youngster K. Class for owner Lyn Warburton with 2nd
place going to the hugely successful K. Promise.
Other youngsters to make the final line up included,
K.Finest, K. Symphony & Holly’s Signet.
In the small pony section great success was evident for
the shorter Kolbeach ponies. K. Garland owned by the
Hall family, K. Swell owned by Roger Searle and K.
Memoir owned by the Anderson Family were 2,3 and 5th
respectively in the Novice 12-12.2 and held their own in
the open class again being rewarded with placings.
The classy and great moving Kolbeach Canasta owned by
Susan Elliott & Luke Millington proved a very consistent
highly placed Galloway as did the brilliant moving
Kolbeach Marine for young Elise Williams.
K. Seashells, KB News, both purchased from Kolbeach
auctions achieved pleasing results in a variety of
events for their owners the Morelli and Gall families
respectively at the 2009 Canberra show. So to did
Kolbeach Classical for the Dempsey Family in the show
hunter section.
What an outstanding show Kolbeach had at Canberra in
2009 and they look forward to the continued success of
Kolbeach ponies for their owners. |
