Melbourne Summer Royal Show 2002

The Royal Summer Horse show in Melbourne proved to be a successful one for the stud.

We were delighted with the success of our young stallion Fernleigh Fine Print who looked magnificent and was shown to perfection by Robert Cockram. This followed on the sale of his beautiful son at the Kirreway sale for $20,000. We are also delighted with the quality of his this seasons' babies, especially two from Thoroughbred mares of perfect type with his tiny, expressive pony ears.

He will remain in NSW until Easter and then come home to Kolbeach. We have decided he will not stand at public stud. Pictured above right, photo by Gary Jameson.

Helden Park Calendar Girl  was judged champion Riding Pony Under saddle and is as sweet as she is beautiful.

Congratulations to Lisa Cleary with her supreme championship win in the Riding Pony led section with the two-year old LJS Heavens Above, a gorgeous filly that the judge said she would love to take home.
